| The following are some of the notes that we get from happy clients |
Date: 2007/05/14 Subject: Jahmal Calliste Nino, I just want to take the time to express my gratitude for what you are doing with Jahmal. When we first approached the basketball camp, it was with the sole purpose of improving Jahmal's basketball skills. Let me tell you that you have given him so much more. Your program is not just about basketball, it is about building character, leadership, responsibility, respect, and accountability. We have seen a difference in how our son has grown. Janhmal's grades have improved so much (and he helps around the house more). What you teach him on the court also applies in every area of his life. He is more focused, determined and confident. As parents we try to teach and instill these same values, but sometimes they just don't get it. Nino you are emphasizing and teaching all that You always tell them about believing in yourself no matter what. You tell them not to think that the ball is going in, know that the bail is going in. You teach them to believe in themselves, I really like that. During the training sessions I sit and watch how you interact with all the kids and how the kids look up to you. This is not just a job for you, it is your passion and it shows. You are truly a blessing for Jahmal. This Game of basketball can be equated with the "Game of Life", We all want to be winners and not losers. You are doing something that a lot of us can't do and for this I say THANK YOU. Your program offers so much more, it is truly "priceless". Sincerely, Daphanie Calliste |

| From: Beatrice Berry-Jamal Sent: Friday, May 25, 2007 5:15 PM To: nsamuel@bellsouth.net Subject: excellent training, thanks!! Dear Coach Nino, This note is to say "thank you" for providing wonderful basketball training for my son. I can truly say that it's "worth the trip" of 1 hour away because of the effectiveness of your training. You also are very positive in the way you interact with your students. Your training teaches more than the game of basketball — it helps teach young people "life lessons" and helps them grow in personal confidence. Last summer I paid a lot of money for my son to attend a professional basketball camp in New York State, yet he said he learned more in a few sessions from you than he did from 6 weeks at the camp! Thanks again for all that you do; it's clear you are devoted to helping build confidence and character in your students. I applaud you as much for your caring attitude as for your tremendous basketball knowledge and experience. Please feel free to use this note in any manner you deem helpful. I am also willing to speak with any parents of perspective students about making a life changing decision to use your services. God Bless, Beatrice Berry-Jamal. |

ROBERT AND RAMONA WOODS Nino Samuel has worked with our daughter for the past two years. When she began the 7th Grade at Pace Academy, she wanted, to play on the girl's school team. She had no experience at that time. She began working with Nino several times a week in one hour sessions. She progressed in her ball handling and shooting skills dramatically by the end of the season and was able to increase her playing time substantially. The initial time she spent with Nino her first year was invaluable in becoming a fundamentally sound and skilled player. She developed good defensive and offensive skills under his training that continue to develop as she plays. Discipline, self esteem and motivation were key parts of her overall training, Courtney's respect of Nino as a Coach, a player and a person provides a healthy learning environment in which she can develop with confidence. When she began working with Nino her original goal was to become one of the starting five players by her Ninth grade year. She trained throughout the summer and her skills noticeably improved. Under his training and guidance she was able to achieve this goal midway through the Eighth grade season and was one of the starting five in the last championship game of the season. She continues to set new goals for herself and, as parents, it is exciting for us to watch her accomplish these goals. Last week a parent (and 7th grade boy's basketball coach) commented to us that he remembered watching our daughter play in the 7th grade. Then, last year, he went to one of the 8th grade games and was amazed at the difference in her skills and game play. We know that she would not be at the level she is today had she not begun training with Nino. |
